In honor of our very own,

Ms. Charity Kemp

July 17, 1992- August 13th, 2021

Ohana is not just a saying… it’s a way of life. Once you’re a part of this Family, our love for you extends beyond the realm of the living and into the far reaches of eternity.

We don’t forget you, abandon you, allow you to walk alone and we will NEVER let your memory fade. Most importantly in your honor, we make sure your family left in this world is always looked after and cared for just as you cared for them during your days here with us.

It takes very special people who can be a part of the Ohana Mod Squad. To be a part of the Ohana managers requires constant selfless acts for others. Here in Family we call them the “Mod Squad”.

Sometimes these loving kind and amazing people are called to the “other side” because they can do more help beyond the veil than their physical being is capable of doing in this world. One such soul was our beloved Charity Kemp.
Charity joined Family in 2019 and jumped in with both feet without hesitation. Her heart was so full of love. She was the first to offer love and encouragement…The first to give of herself without being asked... The first to love a stranger like a friend because they needed one...
That was our Charity.
Last year when Charity was diagnosed with leukemia she never complained or said “poor me.” She was the first to champion Mia, a 6yr old leukemia patient, as our BlueJay Auction Recipient.
While Charity was loved by tens of thousands of people, no one loved her more so than her husband Lee, and her 7 year old son, Braxton, and her mother Sandra. During the days leading up to Charity's passing her dear family still carried on Charity’s kindness by contacting us to let us know of her status and giving virtual "strangers" the ability to say goodbye to one of our own chosen family. Our hearts and souls will never be the same but that’s what happens when someone special touches your life with love. Each and everyone of us are a better person because we had the opportunity to know her, love her and enjoy in life with her by spreading kindness together.
We love you kiddo. Thank you for being such an amazing person. Our lives will never be the same again. May the angels forever be on your pillow and whisper OhanaStrong softly to you. Because of your strength we carry on in your name, and we look forward to future donation efforts to ensure YOUR vision is maintained your name. We are proud to announce that we already are considering future yearly donation drives in the honor of Charity Kemp; in the spirit of quality childhood education and to ensure the spirit of your kind soul and heart, will live on forever. Never forget, never surrender. In your name we will continue to change the world with kindness and make you proud of your Ohana. We love you. Rest easy. #OhanaStrong
